Yoseob's The First Collage album

For those following my Coming Soon page, derp, sorry, it's out of order, I will post the BEAST Seasons Greeting 2014 pack in 2 weeks or so xD

So this album of Yoseob's is pretty old, I just looked up the release date and it came out on 26 November 2012 so I'm kind of very behind ahahahah

I really loved that the title song was called Caffeine because anyone that knows me knows that I'm a coffee addict and I cannot go through my day without my morning coffee, during uni, I have 3 coffees a day to keep me going xD The song is lovely and something you do expect to play at a cafe, also something I love, I love cafes.

 

The album packaging is just a simple flip-open thing. The cover is beautiful, the artwork is lovely andi love how they made parts of the packaging glossy and stick out a bit. I tried to take a close-up picture of the bird on the cover to show you guys.

The album also comes with a photocard, I know there are a few types, but I didn't go too crazy with the photocard collection this time as I usually do xDD I don't know why, I may buy more later, we shall see xD

The photos in the book are really nice, I took a picture of a few of my favourites, Yoseob can be hot and adorable in one photobook ahhhh my perfect thing <3

The poster is simple and elegant, I have it stuck up on the wall behind my piano and it's nice to walk by it. Not too high up so I can see it easily every morning :3

Midnight Sun album (Gold version)

First off, I'm sorry for not blogging last night! I was sick in bed after I got home ): My boyfriend was sick and it was windy the whole day while we went cherry blossom viewing. So yeah, I didn't feel too good and had to do paperwork before bed.

But this post is gonna be short! It's the gold version of Beast's Midnight Sun! This album is only sold at the CUBE cafe as far as I know? Of course, you can get it online like anything else, a little pricier though. However, I wouldn't know how much it costs because I got it as a birthday present last year from my friends (:

As you can see from the picture up the top, my album has gotten damaged since I got it.

Basically, if you look at my shrine then you can see that I have the album standing up. Over time, the mask fell and I didn't notice it to put it back up. So the glue was stuck to the album where it shouldn't be.

While trying to pull it off, it pulled a layer of the album and a puffy looking thing appears. Just before I took the picture, it happened again so yeah the one at the bottom there is the new one OTL

I recommend that you have it lying flat if you buy this or the original one. The mask will slip ><

The album is pretty much the same as the original Midnight Sun album except it's all gold. The photocards and the jacket shoot photos are the same, the disc is also the same.

But for some reason, the jewellery that dangles from the mask looks a lot better in gold. I really love how everything looks in this album really. Which is odd because I don't really prefer gold jewellery when it comes to something that I wear.

I tried to take a nice picture of the mask but it reflected too much and you could see my phone in the background. I didn't want to go further and zoom in a lot like what I did with the Hard to Love, How to Love album because the picture looks bad that you might as well now have it S:

TADAH!!!! This was the photocard that I got with the album TEEHEE!!! My collection of Beast Midnight Sun photocards completed!! How perfect is Yoseob in this photocard ARRGGGHHHH he is just so god damn perfect! And I loved that it was Yoseob that I got for my birthday!!

A huge big thank you to my lovely friends, Sandra, Sarah, Wendy and Grace, for getting me this album, it made me really happy opening it!! (: I love you girls! And we really need to catch up soon while we are completely stressed over uni xD

So this is the first post out of my birthday presents from last year, expect the next few posts to be birthday presents too~ I had quite a little Beastfinite shower last year xDDD

Hard to Love, How to Love album

Wooo so it's finally time the post that you've all been waiting for!!! The new Hard to Love, How to Love album!! And like I said, there'd be a giveaway for this album so I made sure to buy two ;) Hope you guys show enough interest for me to still go through with the giveaway though!

So the album is a pretty big cardboard box that opens up like a book. The top lid of the album has a cut out with a clear plastic sheet so it looks kinda of like a photo frame - which made life so difficult trying to take a nice picture of the album without getting the reflection of my phone in the shot /facepalm

I took so many shots and the nicest one without a terrible reflection is one that looks lower quality as a picture than the others OTL I had to move higher and zoom in so yeah.

CUBE why must you make my life so difficult xD

So the album is a big box that is obvious filled with more than just a CD xD Half of it is just padding for the CD. But above the CD is a lot of cardboard photos, a cardboard photo stand and a regulare jacket shoot book.

Okay so I've broken the jacket shoot photos into two bunchs for this blog because LOL. The above photos are just, I can't even. I'm not saying the boys look back, but the photos are just so terribly green-screened it hurts my eyes xDD And if it's not green-screen, it's a terrible photoshop job. Like seriously, CUBE could hire some B2UTY tumblr editor and do a better job. Some of the pictures are a lot worse than the others. Hyunseung's one up there is like, extremely terribad lol like oh my god.

Okay so special mention to Hyunseung for the jacket shoots because FUCK HE LOOKED FUCKING AMAZING. Like jeez I can't even UGGHHHHH QUISE JUST LOOK AT HIM. I mean Yoseob looked perfect as always because Yoseob is all kinds of perfect. And Doojoon is Doojoon, who sets standards to sex skyrocketing to impossibility. But FUCK GUYS. HYUNSEUNG. To those that know me, you're probably thinking "it's the blonde" and well, you're probably right. LMAO. BUT I DON'T EVEN CARE. HE IS #)%(UBN()%#BN(#%

Yeah okay. I'm good now. No wait. I'm not. FWAAHH#%)UN)Q(%UGAHH)%#G()%UNUGHH#%*G&Q()%HYUNSEUNG#*G%BUN()%#()%#GJ)%U#

Okay. Now I'm good. LOL!

Moving on~

So this album came with a set of seven cardboard photos and a cardboard photo stand that can hold the pictures. The one of the album cover has a group picture on the other side that I didn't figure out when I first took the picture so you'll see it in a picture below xDD

So the photos fit very snuggly inside the frame. The frame folds out from the back and there's there slit in the front (refer to first photo) and you just slip it in. You might thing that it would be weird for the photo if the stand part of the frame pokes out, because that's what I thought. But once you put the photo in, you can't even tell. I mean of course if you plunge the thing through the slit then yeah okay, it will be noticeable, but you can go like close to 1 cm without it being noticeable - you don't even need to poke it in that far to have it stand and not slip out anyways (refer to third photo).

So you can have the photo stand portrait if you plan on using one of the sis members, or you can use it landscape if you want to hold the group photo instead (:

And now it's time for the photocard! I'm sure you guys were wondering which cards I got hmm??

Well you guys should know that I usually start buying two copies of an album that comes with photocards - at the beginning. Then if I don't get my bias I usually buy two or three more. And even then I don't, well, let's not bring back memories of Infinite's Inspirit album in where I bought nine copies trying to get Sunggyu \ 0 /

I bought Destiny and Hard to Love, How to Love at the same time, I opened Destiny first, getting Dongwoo twice, but luckily Michael let me open another one - which ended up being Hoya. So I bought those two. I then proceeded to open the Beast one, and FIRST GO I GOT YOSEOB LIKE HOLY FUCK THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME LOL. I mean you guys saw my Midnight Sun post, I bought six copies and got every member but Yoseob. Like photocards just really fucking hate me LMAO!! I then opened the second one and this was going to be the giveaway one - unless it was Doojoon, in which case I'd buy a third one xD and it was Dongwoon so woot! You guys get double Dongwoon for the giveaway!!

Moving onto the poster; first off, I must apologise for the paperweights being int he way. I haven't had time - nor the wall space, to stick it up yet. So it's been rolled up with quite a few other posters of mine, and so I unrolled it and put it on the floor for the picture. The poster is alright, all that stuff isn't glare in my shot or anything, it's in the photo. It's the same shoot as the second part of the jacket shoot - thank god. Because if it was the first one with the terrible green-screen, I would have died. The poster is pretty nice though. Hyunseung. LOL!

Midnight Sun (Limited Edition) album

So this was one of the things I bought that I mentioned in my last post. Another beautifully designed album released shortly after the original Midnight Sun. The limited edition comes with really cool things that I just need to share with you guys!

The way a brand new album looks might be different to this picture because I opened it and used some of the stuff already and put it back in for the photo LOL! You guys saw in my last picture that I bought two albums but since this post was a little late and I wanted it on time, I didn't take the other one off the shelf to take pictures too so I can't really remember and compare contents between the albums like I did in the original Midnight Sun one ><

The album comes with a card holder, two sets of photocards, a large 3D photocard and an LCD screen cleaner. Oh and inside the photo booklet has this card thing too! Not really sure what it's for but hey, it looks cool xDD But I think it's just a pointless card xD

Umm, I actually don't know why one of the sets only has give cards?? I don't know if I lost one or S: I should've probably looked at the other one I had and check to see if there was one missing as well. But I really wanted to get this post up on time so yeah, kinda rushed all this. But I'll edit this if I ever get around to remembering to check my other album xD Or someone just mention in the comments if the photocards they got looked the same xD I think, from memory, that the large 3D one varies? Not too sure, should check what my other album had and look it up online, ahh!! So sorry that this album isn't very informative, if you can't tell, I'm very much rushing through this post and yeah )':

But anyways! The cards holder thing is really nifty because it's the perfect size to fit travel cards and ID cards. I think this was for those cards for travel that they use in Korea that you need to beep and stuff, but I use it when I'm just driving my mum around and need my licence and don't wanna bring a huge-ass wallet. I haven't used it much lately because I got a new thinner wallet but yeah! Really useful!

For the older readers, this can fit the keycards you use to get into parking lots and stuff too!

Oh and I didn't remember to take a picture clearly, but on the other side is like two pockets so this can hold three cards in total, but it does get kinda thick and hard to put in that many at once.

Okay so the photo booklet is freaking beautiful this time in all aspects!

So there are many photoshoots of them in the white suits in different backgrounds, both indoors and outdoors. They even have a bouquet and it's all %#UG)N#(%UGN()#

And then later into the book they have making-of pictures for the original Midnight Sun jacket shoot - WHERE YOSEOB LOOkS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AND ADORABLE AND )%)N#%(U)()%#U

Then there is also the making-of pictures of the jacket shoot in the white suits and it's just all around perfection and stuff. Yeah. Good. Perfect. Amazing. Great. LOOK AT YOSEOB.

So the reason I bought two albums was because I needed both the posters LMAO! These two posters really made up for the crappy one in the original Midnight Sun tbqh. The one in the suits is just so simple and beautiful, I don't know if you can see the BEAST written at the top in the picture because it's white LOL

And the other poster of the confetti and stuff is just so happy and colourful and amazing and I just love it so much! It's definitely one of my favourite posters ever! It's right up the top of my wall and you can see it when you look into the window of my room from the outside! xDD

Anyways, that's it for this post! I apologise that it feels really rushed when you read it, and this post wasn't as informative as my other posts. I really just wanted to get this up on time. If I'm not strict with my schedule then I might start slacking off more and more and then this blog will die again! Ah! You probably couldn't tell this time, but the pictures are better because my S3 works again! As if it never fell into the toilet! It's a miracle! But since it was dark and I used like a desk lamp for lighting, the pictures didn't turn out as great as they could have been! ><

Addition! To you CUBE lovers out there (which I'm sure you all are), if you haven't heard yet, 4minute will be having a Party Rock Concert in Sydney on September 1st. They are coming to be judges for the Gangwon Cover Dance contest, and so JK Entertainment took this chance to get them to have a little concert too! The concert will only be 1,000 fans and all tickets are standing tickets are $139! Tickets are on sale on Monday 13th, I'll make another post on Monday about it with more details ^-^

Midnight Sun album

Okay first off, I am so sorry about how late this is LOL like really, this album came out on July 2012 so I am over a year late! But I really wanted to post about this because I am still planning to have the giveaway - well, a new giveaway but I still want this album to be part of it! So yeah, enjoy reading what you probably already know about the album xDD

Before I start, I apologise that I didn't get this post up earlier. I actually wanted the post up earlier but my plan for the day ended up taking the whole day - I didn't even eat lunch! But I finished dinner and first thing I did was take pictures to start this post! I wanted to take pictures in the daytime because of better lighting but of course, I couldn't.

I was going to take the pictures when I took the pictures for Tuesday's post - The Special Selection of BEAST International Edition photobook but that post took longer than I thought so I had to go to work after typing it up. I only managed to take one picture of the Midnight Sun albums that day ><

So this album had like seriously the greatest jacket shoot ever because how fucking perfect was Yoseob? As per usual.

LOL no but really everyone was perfect and it had been such a long wait back then and ARGGGHHHHH I still remember my feels from back then like jfc xD

Here's a shot of the first page because Doojoon and Hyunseung are perfect - like the others. LOL I just didn't want to be predictable and have a Yoseob preview. Did I screw you over? Did I? Did I? xDD

But this album is just beautifully designed. Aside from the fact that it comes in this tacky plastic box thing - but I guess it's just so the mask doesn't fall off. The mask is stuck onto the front cover with hot glue, for this reason, it's actually going to vary whether or not your album has the mask stuck straight. Gary (from Media Asia Parramatta) let me look through the boxes of the albums and let me choose the ones that looked nice xDD But that doesn't meant that the mask won't move later one. The one in the picture is one that had started dropping while I had it stand on the shrine and yeah, you can also see that there is like felt material that holds the chains that dangle from the mask, which is also stuck on with hot glue. The bottom of the mask usually covers the material. Usually, if the mask comes off or moves, you can just push it back to where it was originally if the glue is still there.

Sorry I was just so in love with the disc. It looks like the rainbow is just there because it is metal reflecting light, but it isn't. The colours are actually there on the disc and it's just so pretty to look at. I don't know. I just really loved the disc and wanted to show it to you guys. The left cover has the jacket photos and it's attached to the cover like many of Beast's other albums. The photocard is usually on the first cover but there are times where it's in other pages, but its okay because you just fan the book and you'll find the card - it's pretty much like a bookmark placed in there.

Anyways, this album was Beast's first Korean album with photocards. Those who know me know that I'm absolutely crazy when it comes to photocards, so it was no surprise when I bought 6 copies of the album LOL and it was from Gary again, who knows me and photocards for years ago ROFL!

And OMG out of the six albums I bought, I got all the members' photocard except my precious Yoseob!! I got two Dongwoon cards though! xD (Guess which one will be in the giveway lol)

Some of the albums also come with a cashbee card - it's a card used in Korea for shopping points. I got it with Kikwang, Hyunseung and one of the Dongwoon cards. And for the giveaway, I'll definitely include one of the cashbee cards too ^-^ What am I gonna do with three of them, right? xD

Okay so this entire post, I have been raving on about how beautiful everything looked, from the design to the jacket photos, but I have got to say that the poster is way down there with the Shock of the New Era poster for me. Instead of making the poster out of the awesome part of the jacket photos with the graffiti background, they chose the other part where they're in these weird suits which may be the ugliest suits I've ever seen. Being a little harsh? How about this, I bet you guys think that they're just in plain suits and it's all effects. Think again. Those are the actual suits. They are horrible and I hope CUBE didn't spend too much money on them.
